Position Summary

The Integration Lead manages a deadline-oriented transaction process that integrates prospective veterinary hospitals into the Blue River PetCare (“Blue River” or “BRP”) network. In this role, you will drive integration success outcomes and maintain excellent client relationships with prospective veterinary hospitals. Success requires end-to-end accountability of highly visible strategic initiatives, adhering to deadlines, developing processes and project plans, coordinating, and driving internal and external execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and resourcing needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct business integration support, demonstrating and ensuring strong relationship management occurs within the acquisition pipeline and facilitates the integration of practice procedure and processes for hospitals entering the BRP portfolio.
  • Manage multiple projects to client expectations while managing risks, budget, and communicating appropriately with all levels within Blue River PetCare.
  • Exercise excellent judgement, clear and direction communications, in both a remote and on-site client delivery environment, becoming a practitioner of BRP’s “user-friendly” philosophy.
  • Identify diligence accuracy and communicate/coordinate remediation with internal and external counterparts; develop tailor-made solutions for case-by-case practice problems for the prospective hospital (includes Accounting, Human Resources, Recruiting, Marketing, Legal, Operations).
  • Manage and develop clear deliverable roadmaps, goals for implementation, and communication model between prospective veterinary hospitals.
  • Prepares and communicates legal deliverables relating to veterinarian employment agreements.
  • Assists in on-site and virtual administrative training sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with Senior Integrations Lead on establishing monthly and quarterly department goals, documentation resources, and new protocols/procedures.
  • Serves as a support, training, or reporting point of escalation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including special projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%, as needed. 

 

 

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of 3+ years in a customer service-oriented industry role. Veterinary industry experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills are necessary as this position will be required to present complex information in a clear, digestible manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting deadlines while producing high quality work.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direction from manager to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills are a must to complete multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to travel domestically via plane and motor vehicle, up to 70% travel required.
  • Motor skills include keyboarding manipulation for data entry.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, supplies, and office machinery.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with managers at remote locations using email and phone. Must be able to exchange clear, accurate information in these situations.
  • Occasionally moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 15-20 pounds.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiar with online meeting technical details and meeting setup, hosting, and participation protocols.
  • CRM software experience is a plus.
